Türk Nippon Sigorta A.Ş. has announced a change in executive leadership, appointing Göktuğ Gür as its new General Manager as part of the company’s ongoing strategic direction. The transition comes with Dr E. Baturalp Pamukçu stepping aside from the role after contributing to the insurer’s development agenda and organisational progress.
While leaving day-to-day executive management, Dr Pamukçu will continue to support the company as a Member of the Board of Directors. This move allows Türk Nippon Sigorta to retain his experience within its governance structure while opening a new chapter in operational leadership.
A New Phase Backed by Industry Experience
Göktuğ Gür takes over the position with more than 25 years of experience in the insurance sector. Since 1999, he has held senior roles at AIG Sigorta, Dubai Sigorta and Prive Sigorta, building a career shaped by leadership responsibilities across the industry.
Having previously served in executive roles, including General Manager positions, Gür’s appointment reflects the company’s intention to reinforce its management structure and continue along a path of sustainable growth.

During his tenure, Dr E. Baturalp Pamukçu helped advance Türk Nippon Sigorta’s corporate development by strengthening its organisational framework and supporting its long-term objectives.
