The Turkish Insurance Association (TSB) received a delegation from the Kenya Policyholders Compensation Fund (PCF) at its headquarters, with representatives of the Guarantee Fund also taking part in the visit. The meetings were conducted under the leadership of Aysun Yıldız, Deputy Secretary-General of TSB.
The Kenyan delegation included James Njogu, Legal Director at PCF; Noel Zuma, Director of Insurance Risk Monitoring; Moses Kiptoon, Deputy Director of Insurance Risk Monitoring; and Christine Ndungu, Senior Legal Specialist. Their visit created an opportunity for direct dialogue on institutional practices and sectoral cooperation.
Focus of the Meetings
Discussions centered on policyholder protection measures and compensation mechanisms, while both sides also shared insights into the organization, functioning, and supervisory structures of the insurance and private pension systems in Turkey and Kenya.
The exchange of knowledge and experience supported a broader understanding of how each country approaches regulation and consumer safeguards in the insurance sector, reinforcing the value of international cooperation between related institutions.
