BMS Group, the independent global insurance and reinsurance broker, has expanded its Brazil-based leadership team by naming Catarine Xavier Silva as Operations Manager for BMS Re Brazil. In this position, she will oversee the Premium and Claims department, reinforcing the company’s operational structure as it advances its broader regional growth plans.
With more than 20 years of experience across insurance and reinsurance operations, Xavier Silva brings extensive technical knowledge and practical leadership to the role. Her arrival reflects BMS Group’s continued investment in Brazil, where the firm is building a stronger platform to support clients and trading partners.
Within the organization, she will report directly to Wellington Bohrer, Finance and Operations Director. Her appointment highlights BMS Group’s focus on enhancing operational performance while sustaining a high level of service in an increasingly important market.
As the company continues to expand its footprint in Brazil, the addition of experienced operational leadership is expected to support efficiency, coordination, and long-term development across its reinsurance activities.
