Insurance Izmir – Insurance Stakeholders’ Cooperation Fair and Summit is scheduled to be held at Fuar Izmir between 11 and 13 June 2026, creating a major meeting point for the insurance world in Izmir. The event is designed to gather a broad range of participants from across the industry and encourage stronger cooperation among institutions, companies and professionals.

During the three-day programme, the fair and summit will welcome insurance companies, agents, brokers, loss adjusters, assistance companies, reinsurers, insurtech initiatives and public institutions. Beyond offering a professional networking platform, the gathering will also draw attention to Izmir’s historically important place in the evolution of the insurance sector.

Broad Institutional Backing for the Event

The organisation is being held under the auspices of the Ministry of Trade of the Republic of Türkiye and the Insurance and Private Pension Regulation and Supervision Authority (SEDDK). It also has the support of influential sector organisations, including TOBB, the Turkish Insurance Association (TSB), SAİK, SEİK, the Izmir Chamber of Commerce (İZTO) and the Aegean Region Chamber of Industry (EBSO).

Hosted by Izmir Metropolitan Municipality and organised by IZFAŞ with the support of IUC Events as event partner, the fair aims to strengthen visibility for participating companies and create new commercial opportunities. Attendees will be able to connect directly with key stakeholders and follow the latest developments influencing the future of insurance.

Izmir’s Established Place in Insurance History

Izmir has long been recognised as one of the pioneering cities in Anatolia for the development of modern insurance. Its strong port identity and long-standing role in international trade helped the city become one of the earliest centres where insurance practices gained importance.

As maritime trade and transportation expanded over time, Izmir developed into a significant base for insurance activity. Today, the city continues that legacy by hosting an event intended to bring together decision-makers and professionals who are shaping the next phase of the industry.

Summit Sessions to Focus on Emerging Priorities

The summit programme, which will run alongside the exhibition, is expected to explore major themes such as digital transformation in insurance, disaster and risk management, health insurance, mobility solutions and other current sector developments. These discussions are intended to support knowledge sharing while opening the door to new partnerships.

By combining exhibition, dialogue and strategic discussion in one venue, Insurance Izmir 2026 is positioned as an important platform for reinforcing sector cooperation and encouraging long-term growth across the insurance ecosystem.
