Noting that the insurance sector has moved beyond digitalization and entered a transformation process based on artificial intelligence, Koru Sigorta CEO Kasım Yılmaz said they have positioned this change as a strategic growth area. Yılmaz stated that they view artificial intelligence not merely as a supporting technology, but as a fundamental building block at the core of their business operations. Yılmaz explained that through their initiatives, they aim to create a faster, more efficient, and more accessible insurance model across a wide range of areas, from internal operations to the customer experience. He added that within this scope, they have developed projects in numerous critical business areas, ranging from legal document analysis to claims processes, and from data analytics to digital sales channels.

ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE AT THE CORE

Kasım Yılmaz noted that one of the most notable aspects of Koru Sigorta’s artificial intelligence strategy is its technological development capability, stating that they have developed approximately 90% of their AI projects using their own internal resources. Yılmaz explained that this approach not only accelerates development processes but also enables the creation of solutions tailored to the company’s specific needs, while also noting that it speeds up the integration of artificial intelligence into the company culture.

Kasım Yılmaz noted that the company focuses not only on technology teams but on all employees exploring how to enhance their work processes with AI, stating that this demonstrates AI’s adoption as a widespread transformation tool across the organization.

THE IMPLEMENTATION PHASE OF AI PROJECTS

Yılmaz noted that numerous AI projects are currently being actively developed within Koru Sigorta, adding that a significant portion of these projects are planned to be launched by 2026. Emphasizing that this transformation does not merely signify an increase in operational efficiency, Yılmaz stated that it also enables faster decision-making, more accurate risk analysis, and a stronger customer experience.
