Serpil Günal has embraced her new role as the Deputy General Manager of Claims at both Bereket Sigorta and Bereket Emeklilik and Hayat. This appointment comes as another significant milestone in her accomplished career within the insurance industry.
After completing her studies in Mathematics at Middle East Technical University in 1998, Günal initiated her professional journey with training at Ziraat Bank’s notable 10th Banking School. During the same year, she also completed her teacher training at Gazi University. Her early tenure at Ziraat Bank saw her involved in diverse domains including Commercial Loans, Loan and POS Pricing, Personal Loans, and Marketing and Bank Insurance.
In 2006, Günal enriched her academic credentials with an MBA from Atılım University. By 2017, she had risen to the position of Deputy General Manager for Operations and Technical Affairs at Ziraat Sigorta and later in 2020, at Ziraat Emeklilik. Her expertise further expanded when she was appointed as the General Manager and a Board Member at the Agricultural Insurance Pool Management Inc. (TARSİM) in 2020.
Her trajectory continued as she transitioned into a role as Group Head, focusing on Agricultural Banking and Bank Insurance at Ziraat Bank. Günal’s tenure as the Secretary-General of DASK began in July 2024 and lasted until the end of 2025. In March 2026, with a wealth of experience and a proven track record, Serpil Günal began her current position as Deputy General Manager of Claims at Bereket Insurance and Bereket Pension and Life.
