Lockton Re has expanded its leadership bench in the Middle East and North Africa by naming Zeeshan Ahmad as Treaty & Structured Solutions Leader at Lockton MENA Reinsurance Brokers. The appointment reflects the company’s continued focus on strengthening its regional treaty capabilities and advancing specialist reinsurance solutions.
With more than 15 years of industry experience, Ahmad brings deep knowledge of treaty underwriting, structured solutions, and portfolio optimisation across the MENA market. His background positions him to support Lockton Re’s growth ambitions in a region where tailored reinsurance expertise remains increasingly important.
Before joining Lockton Re, Ahmad spent seven years at Afro Asian Insurance Services Ltd, where he most recently held the role of Director, Treaty & Structured Solutions. Earlier in his career, he served in a number of senior positions at GIC Re, including Property Treaty Underwriter and Chief Underwriting Officer of GIC Re South Africa Ltd.
