HDI Sigorta Expands Rapid Support Service Dialogue with Agents in Izmir

As part of its drive to improve claims management quality and operational efficiency, HDI Sigorta brought the second stop of its Rapid Support Service (HDS) meeting series to Izmir. Following the first gathering in Ankara, the programme continued with a strong focus on direct engagement with agents and on strengthening field-level cooperation.

The Izmir meeting was attended by members of the HDI Sigorta Board of Directors and brought together more than 20 agents. Designed around the company’s customer-focused strategy, the event created an opportunity to better understand on-the-ground expectations, evaluate operational needs, and exchange ideas that support shared growth targets.

Board Members and Agents Meet to Review Field Experience

Participants included HDI Sigorta Board Chairman Dr. Wilm Langenbach, CEO Firuzan İşcan, Board Members Oliver Schmid and Christian Müller, as well as Deputy General Managers Ayşe Can Okyay, Halil Bay, and Sinem Gürün. During the session held at the Izmir Rapid Support Station, the discussions centered on field experience, customer feedback, and the ongoing contribution of the Rapid Support Station and Rapid Support Service initiatives to the insurance sector.

Later in the programme, the delegation visited the HDI Sigorta Aegean Regional Directorate to review the office renovation project on site. The visit was followed by a Board meeting where June results were examined and evaluations were made in line with the company’s strategic goals.

Strong Partnerships Remain Central to Growth

Commenting on the event, Dr. Wilm Langenbach stated that HDI International builds sustainable growth across its markets through strong local structures and reliable business partnerships. He emphasized that Turkey holds a priority position within the group thanks to its expanding insurance market and high growth potential. He also noted that the HDS meeting in Izmir provided a valuable chance to hear agents’ needs and expectations directly, while expressing confidence in the work carried out by the HDI Sigorta team in Turkey.

HDS Meetings Support a Solution-Oriented Approach

HDI Sigorta CEO Firuzan İşcan described the HDS meetings as one of the company’s most important platforms for meeting agents, evaluating developments in the field, and reinforcing a solution-focused perspective. She noted that after Ankara, the Izmir meeting offered another meaningful opportunity to listen to agents and reassess the company’s roadmap.

İşcan also highlighted the strategic importance of the Aegean Region, pointing to its strong economy, high insurance awareness, and HDI Sigorta’s wide agency network of more than 500 agents. According to her, the refurbishment of the Aegean Regional Office is a significant part of the company’s long-term investment strategy, aimed at improving the experience of employees, agents, and customers alike. She added that similar regional office renewal projects are planned for other locations in the future.
