A delegation from the Turkish Insurance Association met with Prof. Dr Faruk Bilir, Chair of the Personal Data Protection Authority, for a courtesy visit centered on issues of growing importance to the insurance field. The meeting brought together Ahmet Yaşar, President of the Association, Board Member Neslihan Neciboğlu, and Secretary-General Özgür Obalı to exchange perspectives on the protection and secure handling of personal information.
During the discussion, both sides emphasized that data security and the protection of personal data are critical priorities for the insurance sector. They also explored possible opportunities for collaboration between the Turkish Insurance Association and the Personal Data Protection Authority, reflecting a shared interest in strengthening awareness and cooperation in this area.
