Aon has appointed Mez Patel as the new Head of Global Sales for Aon Credit Solutions, strengthening its leadership team as it expands support for multinational clients facing increasingly complex risk environments.
In this position, Patel will focus on helping global businesses navigate challenging exposures by developing tailored and structured solutions. His remit includes work across trade credit, political risk, contingent liability, and surety, reflecting the breadth of risk issues affecting international organizations.
Extensive Industry Background
Patel brings around two decades of experience in trade credit insurance and strategic sales leadership. Over the course of his career, he has built deep expertise in structuring and underwriting customized solutions for a wide range of clients, from small and medium-sized enterprises to mid-market companies and large multinationals.
Before joining Aon, he spent nearly 19 years at Allianz, where he held several senior roles. These included New Business Sales Manager – Strategic Accounts in the Broker Channel, Regional Sales Manager for the South region in the UK & Ireland, and most recently Regional Sales Director for Allianz Trade for Multinationals.
