Further enhancing the industry’s appeal is a significant female workforce, accounting for 56%, strengthening the sector’s commitment to inclusivity.
Özgür Obalı, the TSB General Secretary, remarked on the sector’s dual focus on growth and workforce transformation, emphasizing the strategic importance of a young and skilled workforce in fostering innovation and sustaining growth. “As digitalization, customer focus, and emerging insurance practices shape our future, this qualified workforce remains our key asset,” Obalı noted.
Moving forward, the focus will not only be on expanding employment numbers but also on attracting young talent, enhancing employee engagement, and nurturing an ecosystem that fosters career development. Celebrating Labour and Solidarity Day on May 1st, Obalı praised the sector’s employees, acknowledging their invaluable contributions and expressing optimism for building a stronger, inclusive, and sustainable future together.
