Sompo has named Elliot Paul as Head of Marine Cargo in London, reinforcing its marine insurance capabilities in the UK market. The appointment reflects the company’s ongoing effort to expand a highly skilled team focused on supporting clients and brokers across a broad spectrum of marine risks.
With more than 15 years of experience in the marine sector, Paul joins Sompo with an extensive underwriting background. Most recently, he served as Head of Cargo & Marine Liability at CNA Hardy’s Lloyd’s Syndicate, where he held a key leadership role in the business.
