Turkish Insurance Association Announces Leadership Renewals and Strategic Goals

The Turkish Insurance Association has ushered in a new era following recent elections. The Ordinary General Assembly, convened on April 8, 2026, led to the formation of new committees for the Non-Life and Life and Pension sectors, establishing a refreshed Board of Directors under the presidency of Ahmet Yaşar.

Key appointments include Fahri Uğur as Chair of the Non-Life Management Committee with Neslihan Neciboğlu serving as Vice-Chair. The Life and Pension Management Committee is chaired by Ayhan Sincek, supported by Vice-Chair Serkan Uğraş Kaygalak.

  • Board of Directors: Ahmet Yaşar was elected as the Association’s 22nd President. The board is reinforced with Vice-Presidents Fahri Uğur and Ayhan Sincek, along with members Neslihan Neciboğlu and Serkan Uğraş Kaygalak.

The newly appointed TSB President, Ahmet Yaşar, emphasized the importance of collaboration:

“Our mission is to significantly enhance the insurance sector’s impact on the national economy, elevate societal awareness of insurance, and propel our industry to greater heights. We aim to double our sector’s size by focusing on digital transformation, sustainability, and customer-centric approaches, creating a clear path forward.”

  • Non-Life Management Committee Members: The committee includes Arif Aytekin, Mehmet Tuğtan, Yavuz Ölken, Neslihan Neciboğlu, Fahri Uğur, Ceyhan Hancıoğlu, Ethem Baturalp Pamukçu, Ender Güzeler, and Fikret Utku Özdemir.
  • Life and Pension Management Committee Members: Consists of Taylan Türkölmez, Serkan Uğraş Kaygalak, Nurdan Tunay Günaylı, Ayhan Sincek, Deniz Yurtseven, Emine Pınar Kuriş, Atilla Benli, Cemal Kişmir, and Selçuk Adıgüzel.
  • Audit and Disciplinary Committees: Emre Buğday, Aykut Ekinci, and Kasım Yılmaz were elected to the Audit Committee, while the Disciplinary Committee comprises Tevfik Doğan, Ahmet Gökhan Kerem, and Ufuk Teker.
