Allianz Turkey has reached an impressive milestone with its ‘Entrepreneurs’ Office’ initiative, which was launched in 2020 to revolutionize the insurance industry by fostering entrepreneurship. Over these five years, the programme has empowered 225 entrepreneurs to launch their own insurance agencies. Allianz Turkey is ambitiously planning to introduce 1,000 new entrepreneurs to the insurance sector in the coming seven years.
The programme is designed to inculcate a spirit of entrepreneurship in the insurance industry and offers extensive resources to professionals aspiring to build their own ventures. It provides a comprehensive support system, which includes mentoring, sales guidance, licence registration aid, and more, to facilitate the establishment of new agencies.
Empowering Entrepreneurs and Driving Sector Growth
The Entrepreneurs’ Office introduces an innovative approach to the insurance domain, striving to nurture a new generation of agency models. Initially available only to Allianz’s insurance advisors, the programme has expanded to include experienced professionals from across the insurance and finance sectors.
Participants gain invaluable experience through various training and mentoring initiatives, developing crucial skills essential for running successful agencies. For those already within the insurance sector, the development programme streamlines their transition.
From Inception to Expansion
Starting modestly with nine entrepreneurs, the programme has successfully cultivated 225 thriving agencies. The initial phase’s successful outcomes have paved the way for the programme’s expansion in subsequent years, aiming to solidify Allianz Turkey’s distribution network and support emerging entrepreneurs.
National Sales and Distribution Channels Deputy General Manager, Ertuğrul Yücenur, underscored the programme’s growth, stating: “Through our Entrepreneurs’ Office, we are shaping agents who can meet the demands of a forward-thinking insurance landscape. This programme focuses on digital skills and visionary strategies, nurturing the ‘agents of the future.’”
Future Ambitions and Development
Looking to the future, Allianz Turkey aims to grow the insurance workforce significantly by introducing 1,000 new agents in seven years. By cultivating a supportive environment for entrepreneurship, Allianz Turkey continues to play a pivotal role in shaping the future of insurance.
