Zurich Turkey Receives Ministry Grant for AI-Based Business Solutions Project

Zurich Insurance Group Turkey received grant support under the Ministry of Industry and Technology’s call for the sectoral adaptation of the Turkish Large Language Foundation Model.

The project focuses on building a new enterprise artificial intelligence infrastructure that brings together generative AI, voice technologies, and document understanding systems.

Requests related to policies, quotations, revisions, and after-sales support from different sources will be analysed and directed to the relevant systems, helping operational actions move faster.

The project aims to increase employee productivity and deliver faster, higher-quality service to customers.

Yılmaz Yıldız, CEO of Zurich Insurance Group Turkey, said the company sees artificial intelligence as a value-creating area that makes life easier for customers, employees, and business partners.

He stated that Zurich Turkey continues to invest in solutions that strengthen customer experience, improve employee productivity, and make operational processes more efficient, and that the company was pleased to receive ministry support.

Yıldız also said the company considers the vision in the 2026–2030 Artificial Intelligence Action Plan important and supports Turkey’s goal of gaining a competitive global position in artificial intelligence.

Developed in collaboration with Abra Partners, the project is expected to support the wider use of human-centred artificial intelligence applications in the financial sector and contribute to Turkey’s technology and innovation ecosystem.
