At CFO Summit 2026, one of Turkey’s prominent gatherings for senior finance leaders, HDI Sigorta took part as an official sponsor while the event convened influential executives in Istanbul. Organised by BMI Business School in partnership with DataExpert as part of the respected C-Summit Series, the summit focused on the forces currently reshaping finance, from economic shifts to the strategic priorities guiding corporate leadership.
Representing HDI Sigorta on the panel titled “The New Dynamics of Growth: Experience, Agility and Transformation”, General Manager Firuzan İşcan addressed how the insurance industry is evolving in response to rising customer expectations and increasingly complex global risks. Her remarks underlined the growing importance of resilience, adaptability and organisation-wide transformation.
Experience and adaptability are redefining growth
During the discussion, Firuzan İşcan emphasised that customer expectations today are no longer shaped only within individual sectors, but by broader service experiences across industries. According to her, this shift is pushing companies to react faster, improve service standards and build structures that can respond effectively to change.
She also drew attention to the increasing impact of climate change, natural disasters and other catastrophic risks, noting that such pressures make agility and resilience more critical than ever. In this environment, she identified a strong capital base, sound risk management and a qualified workforce as essential priorities for sustainable success.
İşcan stated that the true measure of an organisation’s strength lies in its ability to adapt. She stressed that this can only be achieved through a corporate culture that encourages employees at every level to contribute to shared insight, supports continuous development and actively embraces transformation.
A leadership platform for Turkey’s top executives
The summit also featured the participation of HDI Sigorta’s senior leadership team, including Deputy Managing Directors Ayşecan Okyay, Halil Bay, Sinem Gürün and Burcu Çakıcı, alongside General Manager Firuzan İşcan.
