The BSR Sustainability Fund Basket Pension Investment Fund (BSR), launched by BNP Paribas Cardif Pension on 15 May 2025, has now completed its first year. The fund, which is traded on the BEFAS platform, offers BES participants the opportunity to channel their savings into sustainability-focused companies.
The BSR Fund, which allocates at least 80 per cent of its portfolio to sustainability-themed investment instruments, invests in companies that embrace the principles of environmental responsibility, gender equality and strong governance. In this way, investors aim both to achieve their financial return targets and to contribute to sustainable development.
Commenting on the matter, Gökhan Sertsöz, Deputy General Manager of Bank Insurance and Agency Insurance at BNP Paribas Cardif Turkey, noted that ESG criteria are becoming increasingly important in investment decisions, and stated that the BSR Fund offers investors long-term growth opportunities whilst contributing to a sustainable future.
Sertsöz also emphasised that sustainability-focused funds offer significant advantages in terms of risk management and provide investors with access to shares in companies that are leaders in sustainability in both local and international markets.
BNP Paribas Cardif Pension enables participants to easily carry out their BES transactions and fund management via online channels, thanks to its sustainable investment approach and its investments in digital BES infrastructure.
